The final competition in the inaugural ’2011 Dressage Leagues’ brought out a record number of entries - 96, and a full days competition! Due to the high number of entries we also decided to split the classes into seperate Junior and Senior. It’s great to see so many young riders showing an interest in dressage.

The classes were all competitive and places at the top of the leagues were finally decided, some just as the sun went down! Congratulations to the League winners:
Intro League: Sarah Lee and Sidney,
Prelim League: Jo Wilson and Leo,
Novice/Elementary League: Stephanie Rapson and Folly’s Dance.
The Highest Placed Junior’s were:
Intro League: Hannah Comery and Gallois Champagne Charlie,
Prelim League: Lauren Hand and Dillan’s Destiny
Novice/Elementary League: Anna Griffin and Galaxy.
Everyone commented on how nice the trophies and rosettes were and I think many of the competitors have their eye on winning them next year!
We would like to thank all the judges, writers, helpers and of course competitors for making the dressage competitions so popular and successful this season and we look forward to starting again in February 2012.
