Charity Show
This year’s Open Charity Show was held on the 17th July 2011 at The Club Field. This years nominated Charity was – Birmingham Children’s Hospital – Cardiac Unit.
The final total raised was an amazing £2,600 thanks to all the hard work by Margaret Shaw in securing such good sponsors.Thank you to all the class sponsors and prize donators:

Birmingham Children’s Hospital treats some of the sickest children in the country. It relies on Charitable donations to fund additional facilities, equipment and medical research, and to provide the extras that make being in hospital a better experience for their young patients.
Every year, over 225,000 sick children from across the UK are treated at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. many face incredibly difficult circumstances. Their stories of courage, determination and hope are truly amazing.
The medical and nursing teams provide the best possible treatment and the very highest standards of care, but they want to do so much more for the children who rely on them.
The charity’s raise £3m a year to create modern and child-friendly environments, purchase state of the art medical equipment and to fund research into the prevention and treatment of childhood illnesses.
They cannot do this without your help. By supporting Birmingham Children’s Hospital you will be making a real difference to the lives of thousands of children and families, when they need it most.
