DRESSAGE – 12th JUNE 2011

Well done to the Senior Novice Team who came a respectable 5th out of 11 teams at the Area Dressage Qualifier at Sheepgate: Stephanie Rapson on Austin’s Envy Me, Claire Taylor on Reel Classy and Rebecca Bowman on Tottermire Luther. The team enjoyed the day and are already planning to enter the Winter Qualifier in October.  

SHOW JUMPING – 15th MAY 2011

Congratulations to Ellie Neal and Wolf who WON the Senior Novice Individual Show Jumping Qualifier! They will now go to the National Championships in September.

Well done also to the Senior Intermediate Team – Jon Neal on Barney, Abi Shaw on Noble and Donna Eves on Eddie, who came a creditable 4th despite being only a 3 member team. A fantastic 3 clear rounds in the second round moved us up the leader board.

An extra mention for Jon Neal who also came 4th in the Intermediate Individual competition and he has also QUALIFIED for the National Championships!

Both the May Open Shows were well attended with over a 100 competitors at the 1st May and just under 100 at the Open Showing Show on the 22nd May.
Due to the good attendance at the 1st May Show the club has donated £100 to the Rossington Hall RDA Group.
The Open Showing Show on the 22nd May incorporated Equestrian Life Qualifiers and over half the entries were from people attempting to qualify. Congratulations to all the Class winners, Equestrian Life Qualifiers, Ring Champions and to Supreme Champions; Anna Griffin and Galaxy and Reserve Supreme Champions; Jessica Caudwell and Clayton.
